Ward Insulation Named 2017 Small Business of the Year!
After three years in the running, we are thrilled to announce that Ward Insulation & Concrete Lifting has been named the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce 2017 Small Business of the Year!
Ward Insulation has grown a lot over the past three years. We've increased our serviceability to include both spray foam and concrete lifting, serviced the homes of 1,673 customers, and become a top-tier contractor in the most innovative weatherization program in the United States.
This, paired with the Chamber of Commerce win, makes 2017 one of our best years yet.
Owner of Ward Insulation, Carter Ward, said of the company's recent growth, "Watching our team grow, learn, and develop in their knowledge of building science and customer service has been a true joy. Our people believe in the highest quality work, not cutting corners, and providing our customers with our best in every way. I'm proud to work with them."
What is the Small Business Award?
Each year, the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce hosts its Annual Banquet & Bash in honor of the area's most exceptional local businesses and non-profit organizations.
Awards range from the Emerging Leaders Award, which recognizes individual business leadership, to the Non-Profit Award, which honors community advocates like Safehouse and CASA of Laramie County.
"Being recognized in our community as a service leader is something we're so grateful for," said Carter. "Our customers come first, and to be recognized in our community as a company that serves them really put a smile on my face."
But the win took a second to sink in. Carter described the moment saying, "I was waiting for a disclaimer, or for someone else's name to be announced after ours. Then I looked at our team — the ones who make all of this possible — and saw them smile and cheer, and I knew we'd made it. They are the heart and soul of Ward Insulation."
We are so fortunate to be counted among these incredible community leaders, and will continue to uphold the values of humility, hard work, and integrity that got us to this place.
